Introduction

Philosophy is the science of solving general and basic problems related to life. The basic and general problems connected with mind, language, thought, existence, and reality, reasons of incidents, values and knowledge. Socrates was a philosopher belongs to Greek. He was the founder of western philosophy. He is famous because of their Socratic and irony methods. He was a well known philosopher, because of its teaching practice of pedagogy. He had a great influence on the philosophy of the Western world. Socrates also contributes to the field of moral values and ethics.

The Sigmund Freud's Civilization and its Discontents appear as the seminal work in the conclusion all of his claims, theories, thoughts and assumptions about the psyche of human. The themes found in the book of Freud's is about the psyche of humans, behavior of humans under pressure, individual philosophy, Eros versus Thanatos, super-ego and consciousness, his criticism of organized religious values. The overall idea that comes from the book Civilization and its Discontents is about how human beings, pestilence with its instinctual demands for destruction and sex, must be encountered to provide a sensible society (Warner, 2010).

The book of the writer is about the civilization and its disputes with human nature. As a Socrates, it is necessary to put light and consider the nature of man, religious values of the society, and the value of inquiry about the mishaps and incidents happen in the society. The writer gives high importance to the fact, that sex is the need of normal human being and it is necessary to have sex, because it kill the sense of frustration in the mind of humans.

Socrates and Human Nature

Socrates was interested in the life of humans and have a thought and idea on the nature of human. According to Socrates, if the humans want to live a happy and good life, then they must examine their decisions and criticize on their wrong ones. The self examination is necessary, and humans must examine their thoughts and their actions. The themes found in the book of Freud's is about the psyche of humans, behavior of humans under pressure, individual philosophy, Eros versus Thanatos, super-ego and consciousness, his criticism of organized religious values. The life of humans should be around some principles on which they take necessary decisions. They propose four important principles which are, there is no value of unexamined life and human should do critical analysis on their decision (FISHER, 2013).

According to second principle the valid principles and objectives which are necessary for life have to follow to live a beautiful life. Third principle says that the true principles of right actions and thinking and truth about the life are depending upon the will of an individual. The dependence of the beautiful life is totally on the self examination.
