Introduction

Health and Social care is a broad term in UK which is related to various integrated services which is provided by the health and social care workers, Social care is an activity that deals with different situations, among which are: to promote social change toward a state of improvement, the resolution of disputes that arise in human interaction, the empowerment and liberation of peoples under goal of achieving the common good. The relationships of people among themselves and their environments are many and complex and then, there, where conflicts arise, or in his absence, lack, social assistance is to safeguard the rights of those affected by the problems mentioned (Brown, 2003, 54). The overall objective of social care in any society is to achieve social requirements, health and economic and recreational activities for all members of society through the goals of therapeutic, preventive and constructive goals.

The health and social care phenomena seeks to provide a stable environment and care across various social and educational platforms. The social care providers aim to facilitate the society through comprehensive products and service developments. For example, a company may provide social care service by arranging residential child care placement or extending employment support to people with learning disabilities. Social care basically ensure that all people to develop as fully and satisfactorily as possible their potential, to enrich their lives and to prevent any kind of dysfunction that away from happiness and common good. This assignment seeks to develop and implement health and social care organizational policy. Secondly this assignment also covers health and social care values established in health and social care settings.

Task 1

A) Organizational policy of an institution should define the role that the institution sees for her and be consistent with the public image it presents to similar organizations and the general public. While developing and implementing organizational polices we have fulfil certain role, responsibilities and accountabilities. Organizational polices can be comprehensive or simple but our goal is to make it as clear as possible. There should be clarity in polices so that public could understand them easily with employees (Ghaye, 2000, 316). Other responsibility is to specify conformance level, we should also state the scope of policies in short we should provide an updating an integrated policy. We should keep in mind that we have to develop overall policies for the organization. We should especially provide specific reference numbers. We should develop such a policy manual that allows delegation administrators to focus on implementing the strategic plan and analysis competitive environment. As we know technology is playing a very important role in making organizations effective so we should strive to ensure paperless using electronically available to the company and complementing it with assurance and new technologies such as electronic signatures These polices should be for the welfare of organization, employee and other people related to it.
