ABSTRACT

Over the past decade, there is nothing that contributed to the successful development of economies throughout the world as a variety of technological innovation. Technological progress can create new and improve their existing businesses in different directions. Now it is difficult to imagine how to function in hotels, motels, tourist companies and other companies without computer support systems. Currently, these systems are widespread and well coordinated. High efficiency utilization of computer systems has prompted the owners to fight for influence in the market. The purpose of this study is to review the latest developments in this field, to clarify the features of computer technology on the hospitality industry as well as to identify the problems of exploitation of computer systems and the Internet, in determining the prospects for the development of computer systems in the hospitality industry. In this research we try to explore the role that Information Technology plays in developing different areas in a holistic context. The main focus of the research is on the impact that Information Technology has on the tourism and hospitability industry. This research also analyzes many aspects of technological innovations gauge its overall effect on the effectiveness of the present day tourism industry across the world. Since tourism and hospitability industry in any country contributes a significant amount of foreign exchange into a country's economy, it is necessary to work toward continuous development and betterment of the said industry. Information Technology is one of the most striking features of the system of social relations in developed countries. Mankind has entered a stage of civilization, in which information and knowledge play a decisive role in all spheres of human activity. In this case, information is becoming in modern society the most important factor of economic growth. To date, the increased value of IT has become as a commodity. This is due to the overall growth of IT needs and the expression of the industry. The next revolutionary step of Informatization of society is connected with an extraordinary increase in the use of global computer networks. Worldwide computer network Internet is developing so rapidly that every year the number of its subscribers and the volume of information resources virtually doubled.
