Integrated Pest Management (IPM) is a sensitive philosophy and an effective approach to combat the pests that relies on a series of assessments and practical applications. Despite the economic and environmental advantages of this technique, the installation of their system is slow. In the United States, a real management is being practiced probably much less than 10% of the total area, despite the decades of commitments federal government to increase this process.
