ABSTRACT

The major purpose of this dissertation was to examine the issues related to Intellectual Property on Innovation. There was also a need to assess the various factors related to the implementation of Intellectual Property on Innovation in Apple and Samsung. There were several case studies which were selected to address the major issues associated with the legal battle between Apple and Samsung companies. There was sufficient information that highlighted the background and causes of legal battle on Patent's rights between Apple and Samsung. In the end, the case studies provided a lot of important evidence which was very important in interpreting the overall results of the study. The research study ended in interpreting that both Apple and Samsung had to fight expensive legal battle which must be avoided in the future by adopting a sound strategy in this regard. Therefore, these were the major issues related to research study that was discussed in detail.
