Introduction

SCS, Inc is an acronym for Speedy Courier Service that is a leading business entity providing the services of corporate express deliveries throughout the globe. It was established in U.S in 2008 by Michael Thomas. Its delivery range extends from parcels and documents to logistics and freights. It primarily serves the corporate organizations both in private and public sector. SCS has expanded the sphere of its service delivery across 50 countries with offices in 10 countries throughout the world. The SCS has progressed constantly and now internationally recognized global company.

After successful execution of its operations, SCS now intends to expand its business online for which it requires a significant strategy incorporating the competitor's assessment, marketing strategies, internet related techniques, online customer relationship management, e-commerce solutions and International considerations(Ellison, 2002).

Viability of Services in an Online Environment

The extensive market research reveals that the expansion of SCS online will ensure the viability of services because customers have been highly inclined to enjoy the opportunity of getting their orders delivered at required place in time without mitigating the risk of physical and financial hassle (Lancaster & Reynolds, 2005). The online expansion would enable SCS to maximize its profits by targeting a wider market in the corporate arena. The SCS will ease the customers to place orders online by just filling the required particulars at the website and completing the payment procedure through their credit cards. The SCS representative will collect the logistic or parcel from the specified place and will deliver it to the assigned destination. The customers would be acquainted with the facility to track the status of their order online also. As soon as the parcel would be delivered, a notification email would be sent to the customer to keep him updated with the progress of his parcel. The price ranges, services criteria, operational endeavors, events and occasions, promotional deals and many other details important for a customer will be viable online to customers located at distant locations. The customers would also be able to ask direct question from the sales and support representative of SCS who would address the queries in time. This will facilitate SCS to communicate with its customers that would substantially contribute to its ultimate success, elevated number of customer and revenue maximization.
