Introduction

The introduction component of this article aims to present an overview of the study conducted throughout this research. It was observed that free chlorines tended to destroy the passivated surface of the graphene quantum dots. Graphene quantum dots are usually obtained by pyrolizing citric acid which further results in the quenching of their fluorescence signal. An experiment approach has been used for the completion of this research.

Experimental Section

Materials

In this section, the materials that were purchased for the completion of this research have been presented. Citric acid and sodium hypochlorite were the main materials purchased for this research.
