Introduction

Through the somewhat rapid expansion and consequent sophistication of the chemical industries, there has, as a result, been an increase in the amount of toxic waste matters. This, n the age of information and I.T, has led to organizations appreciating the need to hire Environmental Managers across the world. These managers are hired especially for the purpose of handling affairs related to the environment and the effect an organization may have in contributing to it. In this paper, I will be defining what principle measures would be taken by the environmental manager if they were given the task of implementing and remedying certain problems related to the corporate environmental engineering

Discussion

To remedy the current problems faced by my organizations, I would analyze the duties of an environmental manager. The policies as well as the environmental efforts of the current portfolio in the organization must be continued. Since there has never previously been a need for an Environmental manager in the organization before, a full inspection of the need for ne must be done. This will reveal even the smallest problems that have been plaguing the organization. The problem of the leaks in the plant that have let sodium hydroxide persist in the area as well as the leaks causing the sewer system to truly become a dangerous hazard to the organization must first be addressed. The problem could easily be solved if the proper authorities are contacted and requested to inspect the plant, with recommendations and the appropriate hardware being installed immediately to stem the flow of leakage problems. The VOC emissions are also a dangerous factor plaguing the organization, and can ultimately lead to the shutting down of the plant and the manufactured goods.
