Religion in Public School

Introduction

Public schools belong to all citizens, and therefore must model the process and observe democratic principles constitutional development of policy and their curricula. Officials or groups manage public schools must take policy decisions only after would involve those affected by the decision and with due respect for rights of those who hold views divergent. If we are to trust each other and really listen, school officials must accept valid criticisms of its policies and school practices, especially in regard to management of religion and religious perspectives. The paper will focus on the teachings of religion in public schools with special emphasis on the court rulings against objectionable activities.

History of Prayer in School

The history of prayer in public schools matter of legal interpretation, that the religion and the Government of the United States to apply the First Amendment of the Constitution, which prevents the government from establishing religion and protects religious expression, while the private companies, and other activities of government interference and discrimination. Since all these countries respect freedom of conscience, their schools give students the opportunity to not listen to these courses. In Poland and Quebec students may also choose a course on ethics.
