Abstract

The literature of training needs analysis or assessment proposed the procedures to identify the difficulties and weaknesses of the system, procedure and the employers to work efficiently for attaining the desired outcome. This paper includes the proposal to conduct the evaluation of the workers` performance with respect to new technology. Assessment of strategic needs, skills, knowledge, job and task as well as improvement of the performance is the most widespread procedures of training regarding the novel technology. To employ the analysis strategy, the background of the issue must be identified in order to evaluate the adequate plan to improve the performance of the individuals and thus organization. The methodology, challenges and the advantages of the new technology are discussed.

Introduction

The employee training program is a very important tool in the organizational environment in the modern business environment. The need for employee training is felt in most of the business organizations because of the innovations in the business world. There are a number of changes introduced in the business environment that give rise to the business organizations to train their employees in order to cope with the changes in the business environment to remain competitive in the business market. It is very important to train the employees regarding the new technologies involved in modern business so that they could also enable the organization to achieve its corporate mission through innovation and effective work. The core reason of this proposal is to develop a 2 day training program for employees that would be beneficial for the organization and as well as the employees as it would play a vital role in developing the skills and knowledge of the employees. The following are the training needs and the training objectives that have been identified and developed respectively for the completion of this study (Noe, 2013) .

Training Needs

It is obvious that there should be a number of specific needs that give rise to the emergence of training at a particular situation in time. The following are the most significant training needs that give rise to the development of an employee training program.

Lack of knowledge regarding the technology aspects of the business.

Lack of back up plans for skilled employees or covering up programs.

Lack of a helping environment within the workplace.

Training Objectives Based on the above mentioned training needs, the following are the most important and significant objectives of the training program that have been developed.

Training and educating the employees about the innovations and technological developments in the modern business environment.

Training the employees to work in harmony with each other and make themselves committed to the mission of the organization.
