Introduction

The story discussed in the article is a very one which was discussed in the news papers. The articles outline the incident of a fouty nine year old woman who lived in the middle class neighborhood of the Salt Lake City's. The street was known to be the busiest one which was always hustling bustling with traffic and shoppers. The woman as usual took her dog out in the street for a walk. Everything was going on smoothly as it used to happen every day, but suddenly the dog started to bark furiously in the area of the drive way. The women got bizarre with the sudden changed reaction of her dog. The cars were winging their ways with speed, when suddenly a masked man appeared in front of the woman. He grabbed her with full power and kept the knife on the woman's throat. Forcefully the masked man pushed the woman in the house and tossed her on the bed. The dog ran in the house behind them and started to bark frantically. The man didn't care about the dog and raped the woman, he threatened the woman that if she yelled or shouted he would “Nicole” her.

The woman after the incident reported that she never knew as to who the person was and why did he approach her. She said that her life changed a lot after this particular incident. She further elaborates that “All the women are vulnerable and they should realize this fact.”

While still the attacker remains at large, the woman residing at the Salt Lake tries to get over what has happened to her. She adds on that after this particular incident she can never feel safe as before.
