Introduction

Technology is something through which our daily lives have become much easier than they used to before many years. Technology has assisted human beings in more than many ways; some would say that technology has assisted us in every way. From travelling to communication, from office work to house work, even we humans walked on the moon because of the technological marvels that are invented.

As said above, that technology has definitely made every one life easier but how does this technology affect the educational system of today. This is the real question that this research paper will focus. How technological tools provide a better environment for students and how these tools can be troublesome for students and teachers of today. Technology has been used in the education systems for many years. From schools, colleges, universities and army camps, every major educational and training centre uses technological tools to assist in their day to day tasks. In education, teachers use technological tools to grade their students and check their answer sheets in a really short time as compared to going through ever single page. Furthermore, even students benefit from these technological advancements, as through the internet all the information in the world is easily and reliably available. Websites like Wikipedia and encyclopaedia help students to get information about any topic in easy and fastest way (Naqel, 2010).

Many teachers in the schools provoke the idea of young students using computers in schools as it has its own benefit which will definitely be seen in the future. According to teachers, students using computers at a young age will benefit by this act as they will be able to get familiar with operating computers and its hardware like keyboard and mouse, as they will have to work on these tools in the future inevitably. Furthermore, this will also help these students in searching for any relevant data, and information from the internet and the students won't have to wait for the next day to ask their queries from the teacher.

According to many teaching institution, using a computer and laptops helps students and teacher allot. With the help, of computers, the students will be able to work on their assignments by using the keyboard and mouse; this will increase their typing speed as well as their grammar.
