Introduction

The scope of the network telecommunication is the transmission of data electronically over distances, which has virtually become impossible to separable from computers as the telecommunications and computers work together to create value. The form of information transmitted by the network may be voice data, text, telephone calls, images, and videos. The telecommunications that is used today, serves for the organization of remote (more or less) computer systems within communications networks. The computers run the networks themselves. The arrangement of telecommunications and computing resources for information transmission amongst distant locations is a telecommunications network. The telecommunication network of my manufacturing company comprises of various functions related to transmission of data to end users.

Features of telecommunications networks

My company's network of telecommunication includes the following features:

Computers for processing of information and interconnection amongst the networks

The links of Telecommunications Network, which structures channel for the transmission of information from a device of the sender to a receivers' device.

The equipment of telecommunications for facilitating the information transmission.

The software of telecommunications for controlling transmission message over the network.

Layer and its Function

The Physical Layer enables accessing of the medium of telecommunications that ensures bit stream transmission over it

The Data Link makes sure that the transmission of data blocks is error-free over a network link

The Network Routes allows messaging by the selection of connected links from source to destination.

The transport layer offers means of reliable connection amongst the end-to-end communicating nodes.

The Session layer creates, maintains, and finishes a connection amongst two applications that run on the same nodes at a time.

The Presentation layer enables the essential conversions such as character code conversions, encryption or decryption, compression/decompression of the sending characters. Concern requests for creating and ending a communication to session layer

The Application offers communicating services for application programs including allocating a remote peripheral, running a remote program, ensuring integrity of remote databases and file transfer.

Telephone networks and computer networks will remain distinct in the future.

This telephone network has rapidly obsolescing platform, in future it will not be sustainable. As this network technology is becoming more difficult for finding its spare parts, trained engineer or trained technicians for working on it. The Consumer Electronics Show panel titled introduces the Telco All-IP Telco. The all-IP network signals death for the traditional networks of telephone. Since the networks based on Internet Protocols gives higher quality voice calls with greater importance. The integration of voice on web including the Google Hangouts and Skype on Facebook. The computer network communication provides the most efficient voice to communicate. The voice quality in computer has improved in the past years and has a long way to go. (Michael & Bar, 1993).
