INTRODUCTION

The smuggling of drugs and narcotics is universal and reflects increasingly accentuated forms of abuse.

Latin America has become one of the regions of the world traffic classes Latin American and Caribbean regions, through which the traffickers distributed drugs, using these countries as major drug trafficking routes.

1. - TYPES OF TRAFFIC.

Before turning to the types of trafficking drugs out there, it is necessary to define what is meant by drug trafficking. Drug trafficking is a crime is to facilitate or promote the consumption of illicit drugs and addictive substances that threaten the health public for profit, although this definition may vary according to different criminal laws of each state.

There are three types of drug trafficking within established based on the means used for drug trafficking. These three types are:

a. - Air Traffic: It consists in that it uses as a means of transit, vessels or public or private aircraft for air carrying narcotic drugs or psychotropic substances.

b. - Vessel Traffic: It consists in that it uses as a means of transport ships, boats, etc. to sea carrying narcotic drugs or psychotropic substances deposited in containers or elsewhere in the vessel.

c. - Traffic road: It consists in that it uses as a means of traffic, vehicles or other means of road transport, to land traffics narcotics or psychotropic substances, in whatever form to be packed.

2. - TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS

Initially, the war against drugs was a stage that had a lot of repression, unilaterally, and some ingenuity.
