Introduction

It is an issue that should be examined, discussed and analyzed by all (a) health care professional who works in an interdisciplinary way by the social production of health (Sylva, 2007).

Cognitive Domain

Before the general understanding there was no concept in my mind about the health promotion. According to U.K. Department of Health. (2001)To understand the health promotion is necessary to start with some general considerations on the scope of the concept of health. When referred to the concept of valid health importance is attached to the different determinants of biological, social, ecological and services, considering that the dynamics that generate, in their close relationship, is what ultimately determine the health situation in our society. These concepts helped the most in the module.

Thus it is assumed that, although the disease care is relevant, especially in terms of productivity and meaning for whom "health recovery" has a number of significant limitations that call into question its ability to respond to the current state of health of the population and its value over the disease prevention and health promotion. Some of these limitations are in: high economic and human costs of increasingly complex problems, difficulties in acquiring medicines and sophisticated equipment, lack of drugs to cure diseases that affect large groups and that could be avoided but are associated with attitudes and practices of the population, large inequalities in health, particularly in the most disadvantaged social groups and the depletion of the effectiveness of direct care model in relation to the magnitude and quality of health problems.
