Assessment in general terms is the process of collecting, synthesizing, information to aid classroom decision-making. There seems to be widespread agreement about the utility of such simulations for assessment in psychiatry, at least at the medical student level. When one thinks of assessment, one habitually thinks of the paper and pencil tests that were in their own schooling. Although this assessment practices may provide valid information about older students learning, however, these methods are often questionable in assessing younger student's current performance progress.
