Abstract

This paper discusses about the workplace diversity, several studies have found differences between women's work styles and work styles of male. Dignity and rights of women are often violated. Issues like sexual harassment, recognition, unpaid work, etc continue to impede equitable diversity. The paper discusses how the women are affecting the workplace diversity, increasing numbers and shares of women in the workplace may be the most important component of diversity the national level in most of the world, not only because of their strengthened presence but also because their changing roles have a simultaneous effect at home and work. In the US, increased each year in the number of women working outside the home and this number increases as we headed to a younger generation. In recent years, at least in Western societies have made ??significant progress on equal opportunities between men and women. In this study we observed that participants, especially the women themselves, consider that a female manager who wants to succeed, compared with male managers should be better able to make decisions, be more efficient, have greater intellectual capacity, be more sensitive to the needs of their peers, to be more understanding, more enjoyable in the deal and share more knowledge.

Introduction

The globalization of business means that the managerial workers must be able to deal effectively with people from other countries. At the same time, it is important to deal effectively with different cultural groups within one's own country and company. Both the international and domestic workforces are diverse. In the present context, diversity refers to a mixture of people with different group identities within the same work environment. Workplace diversity is not prized simply because it is pleasant to have different groups working next to each other, but because these groups must work together as a team to serve a variety of customers, and to generate a wide variety of constructive ideas.

Market globalization, the revolution in telecommunications and information technology has redefined the way we produce, forcing the restructuring of traditional enterprises.
