The Vernacular Architecture studies will provide useful insights for designing contemporary buildings by taking design clues from Vernacular Buildings. The Research may be carried out for different climatic regions like Warm Humid regions, Hot and Dry Regions, Cold and Cloudy Regions etc by studying the climatic Concepts used in Vernacular buildings of that particular region and design guidelines may be formulated for each and every region which will help us in designing Contemporary Building using Climate Responsive design concepts (Adams, Hoelscher & Till, 2001).
