Introduction

The rapid expansion of the fast food industry has prompted for major changes and shifts in the attitudes, processes and perceptions of businesses and people. The fast food industry has now expanded all through the world. Initiating from the United States, fast food services are often advised as an attribute of the new international culture. The various factors impacting the industry may be categorized as internal and external. In addition, several factors such as change in the eating habits of people and the operating procedures of businesses and their approaches have shown dramatic changes. These changes have occurred over a short span of around 10 years. This is by all means a rapid change which is evident due to its magnitude. These fast food restaurants are showed as casual, have consistent service to any individual despite of communal rank and focuses on giving quick-service to its customers. The fast food industry increased out of a heritage beliefs that substantially standards friendliness more than propriety, fundamentally more than customs of gracious dwelling and popular agreement over status-based partitions.

Given the current scenario given above, the planned study is intended to gain the critical insights to this field and prepare a comprehensive feasibility analysis in order to contribute to the new business for food services that has been planned. It is imperative that all the factors which are related and have a significant impact on the new business are identified and addressed. The factors include external environment factors such as regulatory concerns, legal issues, external demographics, target market, suppliers and vendors. The factors that pertain to the internal environment issue include the workforce, specialists, marketing finances and technology.This study will address all of these issues and will hold interviews regarding the same.Literature Review

The shifts in all the factors pertaining to the food businesses form the basis of this study. The study will be focusing on the strategies employed by businesses in the food industry as well as the goals and objectives that are expected to be attained. In this regard, several factors need to be taken into account which include a complete analysis of the strengths of the business, the weaknesses that are identified, the opportunities that exist in the environment and the threats that need to be taken into account.In this regard, food critics will be interviewed which include Michael Bauer, Calvin Trillin Pat Nourse. Samples from the target market which include the general fast food consumers will also be a part of the survey and will be required to fill in the questionnaires that have been attached. In addition, other critical factors are also to be evaluated which include the bargaining power of the suppliers and the same abilities of the customers and consumers.
