Group Work in Business

Introduction

Group work is very important for the success of any business there are situations in which it determines the survival of the business. Survival refers to learning to depend on one another along with taking the advantage of each opportunity for the group to grow and learn (www.all-about-leadership.com). The research has revealed that group members learn effectively from one another. Therefore, the groups should be learning groups which emphasize on helping one another to learn. The groups are also more effective as compared to the individuals to work in the complex business environment as they help in developing the interpersonal skills to cope with the conflict (McGourty & DeMeuse, 2001).

The third stage is integration which is inked with the middle and advancing age (Schellhase, 2006). However, the learning process can begin from any of the modes in the cycle (Clart et al, 2010).

The group life cycle would cover the whole project and I will discuss more about it throughout this essay and how we have performed and did the norming part.

Reflective Observation

This step is about what the things that had happened and the results. The goal of the group was to develop a business plan along with its poster presentation for the Squash Ball Pre Warmer.
