The section aims to emphasize on the ethical dilemma faced by Google in the state of China. The case of Yahoo is also compared with that of the Google incident. The Chinese website of Google (www.google.cn) would be censored by the company on the basis of the instructions of the government. Before this, the government agencies in China used to censor the content on Google's site that violated the regulations. Freedom of speech is come up with various types of protection in America and France. The global contradiction about the freedom of speech laws along with the immense growth of the Internet has created an issue of greater scale regarding speech over the Internet. The issue has impacted not only France but also many other states all around the world. A resolution must be reached to overcome future dispute such as that involved in the Yahoo Case. France has a number of independent options so that future disputes over speech on the Internet can be easily resolved. Yahoo decided to ban the sales of Nazi memorabilia from its on-line auctions. The company denied that the response was in the reaction to a court ruling in France that it must avoid Internet users in that state from accessing Yahoo websites that sell such material (Okoniewski, 2002).

According to the Wall Street Journal, Google suffered blockade storm to get a license for the first time since the event. The search service returned to normal. The access status of Google China search giant confused: automatic reporting system known as Web search and mobile services are completely blocked, but most users do not encounter blocked. The search giant then modify the availability of the report, said Web search is only partially blocked.
