This report focuses on the employee relations of the Wal-Mart.

Discussion

Up till now, Wal-Mart has been successfully managing the development of its business model by multiplying its outlets in the country. The growth has not changed much for the ideological culture of the brand. It has been highlighted that the major role played in this regard is mostly maintained by the type of recruiting staff. The supermarket chain launched a network to recruit executives trainees gradually from the universities (presence on campus 700 Students in Free Enterprise). Wal-Mart wanted junior students, executives identifying themselves completely to their business, young people who were the first in their family to attend college. The company wanted young men and a few women who are able to commit fully to the ethos and corporate culture.

The opening of other outlets in the United States is not always synonymous with success. Its organizational model depends largely on the strength or weakness of the labor law of the concerns of the country. Also, the ASDA acquisition of UK distributor in 1999 is a good deal since Wal-Mart meets a flexible labor market and precarious by Thatcherism in the 1980s. The labor law for the benefits of employees in the United States has forced the organizations and companies to save the rights of the employees and ensure their salary packages and perk benefits. But the employees at Wal-Mart are littlt un fortunate in this regard.
