The Royal Museum of London is in the ancient crypt of a fine late 19 th century, the first English-style church, designed by Arthur Cawston, which has been restored. The building also houses the Library of the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry, Whitechapel. Visitors wishing to see the main body of the church may do so Monday through Friday, subject to the approval of the Library Service of the Library reception. The museum has a separate entrance on Newark Street, reopened to the public in 2002 after a major renovation, with the support of grants from the Heritage Fund Lottery and St. Bartholomew and the Royal London Charitable Foundation.

Museaum Reveals Visions

More than 7,000 sets of exhibits that tell the stories of Londoners in the last 350 years. Ann Fanshawe extravagant 1750's style suit will make visitors wonder how the wearer was able to walk through a door with his two feet wide skirt. A reconstructed garden pleasure of Georgia, with its parade of walkers dressed exquisitely patterned hats and masks specially commissioned by Philip Treacy, will present the excitement and intrigue of Georgia social life. But the difficulty was just a turn of fortune away, as the prison, recorded with the inmates of the debtors Wellclose graffiti.

Entering the twentieth century, the impressive rise Art Deco department store Selfridges is evidence of the opulence of the new century. The frenzy of political campaigns and the voices of protest out in the stories of suffragists fighting for women's votes and the Communists and fascists emerging as the nation went to war. The trunk of refugees belonging to the family Seelig, who escaped to London from Dresden in 1939, tells the story of those forced to move to the city in difficult circumstances (Impey, 2001).

In more recent history of the city, visitors can learn about an increasingly multicultural message of the war in London, and reveals the sixties with the new era of fashion and design welcomed the decade in The Ghetto, a play by Tom Hunter, the harsh realities of London life, and discovers a Hackney street of the 1990 populated with squatters. The museum will offer new items on the screen, as well as perennial favorites, the famous sparkling State coach mayor will have his own gallery with street-level windows for passersby to see the first time. Professor Jack Lohman, Director of the Museum of London, said: "New Modern London rooms new life into the museum, which brings together more than 7,000 objects from vehicles, clothing, jewelry and paintings. They provide a home for London's history - celebrating the unique spirit and energy of city before the 2012 Olympics. It's exciting to see this ambitious and complex project has, finally, the transformation of the museum and placing it in the center of the city is celebrated. "
