In the book “Alone Together”, Turkle writes that it looks that this new era of increased communication with help of using technology has brought us in age of disconnection and dislocation with our families and other socializations. It may be so but it has been also elucidated from many stories about the people that they need to live in deeper association and intimacies with some people and they are so obsessed and unsatisfied with their existing relationships. Their recognition and authenticities have been in changed mode such as previously people had some wonderful and intimate friendships with the people in any group or in anywhere but now a days people have wonderful and true friends on their facebook or other social working websites and on other technology oriented devices. They do not even have time to meet them that how actually their friends are. People wished for relationships without any inconvenience and betrayal in the past times and this wish this too in this era as well. Doubts, fear, and failure of disconnection are not just a concern of online relationships but these things are in-built in human psyche and his conditions, this was what Turkle assumed always. In her assumption, there is an inborn conservativeness in the idea that thing were more better when there was no any technology orientation as this thing has loosened people's relationships. She says that this is not just a presumed assumption but people were used to be like that in real terms. In the comparison of today's era with the previous one, it seems as a humorous thing that previously the phone calls were used as a good and proper means of communication but now it has been dragged to the critical forces of text messaging and video- callings over Skype. On invention of telephone there was a panic created that how this technology will go for a relationship but still people utilized that a lot. There is no a reason could be found till today that why shouldn't invent a new type of communication as it covers up just a niche in the environment. By the whole means, she just tried to say that due to the increased innovation we are together with our family, friends, and other relationships with the use of technology-oriented devices but still it seems as we are just alone all over the world (Turkle, 2011).
