Introduction

The development is a process of sustained and progressive change in the search for better quality thresholds of life and human development. The development is an integral concept in which the moral dimensions, political and cultural exert a central role. Development is a process of evolution and transformation from one state to an optimal condition, which must be sustainable. It has four compounds: growth, progress, and future projection. Growth is the basic condition for obtaining the quantitative potential which must be accessed to achieve a better future. Growth is the physical responses while the instrument of human action to achieve better wellness. Progress should be considered only as a means for man to attain a higher level and more worthy because it is useless in reality, if there are goods and services enjoyed by the few.

Finally, development must be realistic and achievable in a specific time horizon by a conception, planning and management. This then translates into plans, programs and projects that will materialize. The acquisition and logistics field plays a vital role in the growth, progress and future projection of a country.

Acquisition and Logistics Field

Acquisition and logistics is the field which deals with the organization, management, deployment and optimization of processes of goods, information, energy, money and people. It flows along the value chain and supply chain. The economics are concerned with the economic relationships and regularities of logistics. Thus, for example, warehouse, production, transportation, labor and material costs of the individual processes identified in a system but also influence the individual currents and their effects (Jones, 2006). The acquisition and logistic field continue to be key figures and analysis function of a country, such as cost-benefit analysis, cost-benefit analysis for control and optimization of the processes used.

Following are some of the branches of acquisition and logistic field:

Warehouse logistics: covers the planning, implementation and control of all logistic actions regarding the warehouse, warehouse storage systems and design of optimal organization and storage technology.

Transport Logistics: deals with the physical movement of goods between different places within logistics networks (Langford, 2006).
