Introduction

For the purpose of understanding the concept of marketing strategy, we shall be studying the concept of acquisition and how does it impact the flow of business operations and at the same time creating the best and most effective alternatives that would accelerate the growth of business operations and transactions that take place in the company.

Acquisition

Acquisition implies taking over the operations, transactions and dealings that take place in a company, which would otherwise contribute towards the stability, sustainability and competitive growth for the company to survive in the industry. Acquisitions, along with mergers, have been defined as the most effective tools that has been prevalent in industries throughout the world under different conditions; especially prevalent in the banking industry, mergers and acquisitions have been undertaken as an important vessel to adopt in order for more inflow of cash funds, monetary assistance or simply plain market growth and reputation, which would help their people to pave way in the market (Hoopes, Madsen & Walker, 2003).

Acquisitions can be understood and comprehended in two broad categories: one could a friendly acquisition, where two companies, after a joint consensus, understanding and comprehension have come together towards the decision of delivering synergetic efforts and outdoing all the other competitors in the market. These days the most prominently acquired and discussed acronym 'Chindia' has occurred with the operations and trades that have occurred between China and India, being amongst the giants in the international and global community. With endless work and progress paving way in both these countries, it has become significantly promising that these nations are a strong, highly competitive and amongst the best acquisition that has taken place in the world community, serving as the backbone of the global economy present today.
