The prestigious field of dentistry has always fascinated me due to its splendor and the nature of work. They say Dentistry has been blessed with the power of healing. I had always wondered how is it that a person in agony can be relieved from their pain and leave with a wide smile on their face. I had one such experience when after a visit to the dentist, my passion to join the wonderful field of dentistry and my aims to become an accomplished dentist were rejuvenated. From that point onwards, I made it a personal mission to join this field and offer my services to provide patients with the same level of satisfaction and relief that I had experienced. It was sheer hard work, complemented by ambition that enabled me to secure a place in M.A.Rangoonwala College of Dental Sciences and Research Center, Pune, India. This was the first major milestone that I achieved on my way to becoming a dentist. During my pursuit for obtaining my Bachelors Degree in dentistry, I participated in free dental camps as part of the coursework. I utilized the opportunity to hone my skills further in an efficient manner. From orthodontics to implantation, I actively took part in the whole experience and enjoyed the opportunity, while learning the importance of the patient-dentist relationship. The many obstacles along the way have made me stronger and have reaffirmed my passion to become a dentist. . It is the added intricacy of the manual work involved which makes this field distinguished amongst others.
