The American Psychological Association's (APA's) Ethical Principles of Psychologists and Code of Conduct (hereinafter mentioned to as the Ethics Code) comprises of an Introduction, a Preamble, five General Principles (A - E), and exact Ethical Standards. The Introduction talks about the intent, association, procedural concerns, and scope of submission of the Ethics Code. The Preamble and General Principles are aspirational goals to direct psychologists in the direction of the largest ideals of psychology.
