An Evaluation of Bob Evans Restaurant

Introduction

After arriving to the United States of America, the first place that I visited to have a meal was the Bob Evans Restaurant. This is because of the fact that I had heard a lot about the restaurant. The food is delicious and the ambiance is great, due to which, I have now become a regular customer of the restaurant. The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the overall service, taste and ambiance available at the restaurant. This evaluation would in turn help my family and friends in visiting the restaurant and becoming a regular customer, as well. Furthermore, it is always useful to know the good points of a place one visits to have a meal. In this regard, it can be said that the first thing that anyone visiting the Bob Evans restaurant would note is the ambiance of the place, which without doubt is amazing. This in turn is one of the main reasons for the fact that the restaurant has a large number of loyal customers visiting the place on a regular basis. This is said because of the fact that, when one visits a place to have a meal, the first thing he would make a note of is the ambiance of the place. If the place is dirty, the individuals would walk out of the place immediately, whereas, on the contrary, if the place is clean and ambiance is good, it would force him to try out the place (Lafferty, Mike, 2007).

Furthermore, Bob Evans is also involved in providing catering services to customers, along with family meals, placing of online orders and carryout. The items they purchase for their restaurant are bought form Wal-Mart, Kroger, and other public grocery stores. The restaurant is located at the Southside of Indianapolis. The restaurant opens at 6am in the morning, offering breakfast meals, followed by lunch and dinner meals and closes at 9pm during winter season and at 10pm in summer. The human resource at the restaurant includes only five employees. Each of the employees is assigned with different sets of tasks, which they are required to fulfill.
