Compare and contrast The Matrix with the readings from Plato and Descartes. What are some similarities and differences?

After watching and analyzing the movie of The Matrix, and the readings of Descartes and Plato, it shows number of differences and similarities in it. The Plato and Matrix have the similar qualities because they both describe the characters in a world, which were receiving is an illusion or different sort of dream. These illusions were basically the deceiving picture they were watching, or it can be the sight of the world which they believed they were surviving in. At the contrast, it seems that Matrix and Plato reflects the justified evidence or reasons for supporting their beliefs. However, it is said in the Bible that it our responsibility to consider what is true or false in reality (www.newdualism.org)c. In simpler words, trust on the reality or else we will be responsible for its destruction. Due to this reason, it is stated by Plato that it was reasonable that the chained person under The Allegory of the cave run away from oppression to find true reality. Luckily, he went back and was deceived by his sight. After that it was realized by him that the sight he watched was not true in nature (Elliott, 1967).
