Cultures and civilization has played an important role in the development of history. Mesopotamian Civilization

Mesopotamian civilization is an important part in the study of the history if civilization that lead to the development and progression of the western civilization. It has been observed that the Sumerian people formed the ancient city of Mesopotamia. The origin and foundation of the Sumerian people is not very clear in the literature of the history. However, these people are considered to be the founder of several cities in the southern and ancient Mesopotamia. By the period of 3000 B.C.E, there were a number of cities that were built in the area of ancient Mesopotamia. These cities include Ur, Umma, Uruk, Lagash and Eridu. The historical evidences show that the Sumerian people are not the only founders of the civilization of Mesopotamia. They have adopted and followed some kind of the patterns of the ancient people living in the region of early Mesopotamia. The evidences from the crafts and agricultural methods and tools draw attention towards the origin of the early civilization of Mesopotamia. These agricultural methods and tools are not originally belongs to the Sumerian people but they have adopted these things from the preexisting settlements of their ancient society and people. The Sumerian people worked for the development and progression of the cities in Mesopotamia and they were succeeded in the formation of the economical and political control in those cities of Mesopotamia. The integration of external economical, political and other environmental factors leads to the formation of Sumerian civilization which is widely known as Mesopotamian civilization.
