Human beings, like other dwelling animals in the world, also have biological and psychological needs. Other animals fill their needs primarily through biological adaptation, for example, a lion uses speed and sharp teeth and claws to capture and eat its prey. Conversely, our human beings expand forms of information and technologies that enable them to get the necessary energy from the environment and make life more secure. This knowledge and technology forms a core of culture that can be passed from generation to generation and group and group, so human beings adapt to their world culturally (Nanda & Warms, 2002).

Ethnocentrism or anthropological is a concept that refers to people's tendency to place themselves at the center of the universe and not only evaluate others by the standards of their own culture but also believe that their culture is superior to all others.The idea that 'my culture & values are obviously different in cultural way but might similar as human being better than those of the 'others' because the others don't make sense!' is deeply ingrained in most people all over the world. I have lived in the India, and now I have travelled to Chicago, USA and this belief is shared by all ethnic groups and cultures that I m going to interact with.

For example, when I notified one of my American male friends that I was going to reside in a joint family with my in-laws after marriage, he said "Oh... I am so sorry. Ican't imagine how strong that should be for you!” Americans, belonging to a highly individualist culture, can not ever envisage living in a joint family system.
