Background

My name is Antonio Munoz Jr. and I have outlined my personal experiences from childhood up to now. These are my life details which I have constructed by relying on a model of the seasons of a man's life which was proposed by Levinson. His developmental theory consists of universal stages or phases that extend from the infancy state to the elderly state.

Levinson's stage theory is imperative because it goes beyond most theories assuming that development continues throughout adult life (Munoz 2009). Levinson's concept of life structure (the men's socio-cultural world, their contribution in their world and various aspects of themselves) is the major component in Levinson's theory. The life structure for each person progresses through the developmental stages as people's age. Levinson's model includes five main stages (Schaefer 2001).

They are the pre-adulthood phase (age 0 - 22), the early adulthood stage (age 17 - 45), the middle adult stage (age 40 - 65), the late adulthood stage (age 60 - 85) and the late late adult stage (age 80 plus). Levinson states 'the shift from one epoch to the next is a massive development step and require transitional period of several years. Levinson's model emphasizes that expansion of life structures is a continuous life process (Schaefer 2001). In the stages which track the mid-life transition are not focused on, but Levinson does state that the mid-life transition is not the last opportunity for growth and change (Munoz 2009).

My Introduction

My name is Antonio Munoz Jr. I 'am son of Petra Cardenas and Antonio Munoz Sr. I was Born in Laredo, Texas on January 25th, 1965.I am youngest of 2 children in my family. My elder sister is 15 years older then me. Her name is Maria Quadalupe Quintero; she is married with 2 boys and 1 girl.

My Childhood

My Father worked for a local newspaper as a typesetter and my mother was a housewife. I belonged to a family who earn by hand to mouth so my family went through hard time while trying to make both ends meet. My parents are very loving and caring and they tried their best to ensure that I and my siblings were able to enjoy every necessity and luxury of life. So we could lead a happy and contented life. My parents tried to spend all their spare time with me and my sisters. I remember that we used to attend our local church on every Sunday.

My childhood Hobbies and interests

I have a very sportive nature since childhood because of this reason Sports and computers sprouted my interests by the age of 7. My favorite sports were Baseball and football.

I participated in little league baseball for 3 years. The first computer which I used was Radio Shack TRS-80. As I was very suspicious about computers I collected some knowledge about Radio Shack TRS-80 prior to its use this information made me know that TRS-80 was Tandy Corporation's desktop ...
