Why you desire to attend graduate school?

Graduate school indicates that a person has decided about his career. It also suggests that the person has looked over all the options, but eventually decided to settle on a career path. I have the desire to have an authority role, related to a field of knowledge, and excel in that area from a hobbyist to an informal pundit.
