Introduction

This paper will discuss the applied project management at the Google Company. Google Incorporated is a company headquartered in Mountain View (California, USA); by the Internet services, in particular through the same search engine by which Google has been known. The company was founded on 4th September 1998, by Larry Page and Sergey Brin. On the same day, they took a first test version of the program on the market and in the same year, the search engine was officially connected to the grid. The company describes its own efforts as follows:

"Google's mission is to organize the world's information and generally make it accessible and useful for others."

By the end of 2010, it employed 24,400 people. Google had a dominant market share (80%) of all search queries on the Internet in the year 2010. Google has been one of the most valuable brands in the world.

Google offers a variety of mostly ad-supported free services at the World Wide Web. This is especially a search engine to different data sources. Often, new single services are included in the offer, sometimes as a result of corporate purchases. We apply a new service that is often with the addition of Beta, to indicate that it is not yet mature. Google has been criticized for some services to keep the beta status for a long time. Less successful, however, services are usually operated on the setting of Google Answers.

Discussion

Since its inception, Google has increased its sales and profits significantly. In the year 2010, it had a turnover of 29.3 billion U.S. dollars, and made a profit of 8.5 billion dollars. It took most of the revenue for them by the advertising services up to 28.236 billion U.S. dollars. Other revenues were made by, among other licenses, as 66% of the revenue made ??on Google sites, 30% on Google Network sites and 4% from other sources.

The Google paid on its profits outside the United States only in an effective rate of 2.4% and has thus, avoided an estimated 3.1 billion U.S. dollars from 2007 to 2009 in taxes. In the year 2010, the effective tax rate is an estimate of around 3%. In the U.S., Google succeeded less drastically to avoid paying taxes, making the effective tax rate on reported earnings totaled 22.4%. Dealing with Google's control problems, the company encountered criticism, but also to the governments that make this possible.

Long project management for complex and extensive project is successfully applied in a number of companies. Whether a company develops a new product, introducing an IT system or to implement a particular strategy, almost all projects in industry, public administration, research and policy are being realized today in the form of projects.
