Introduction

According to the census of 2010, Argentina has a total population of 40,666,000 inhabitants. The official name of Argentina is Argentine Republic. Capital of Argentina is Buenos Aires. It is based on a total area of 2,780,403(sq km).The people living in Argentina are usually Spanish and it even comprises of minor populations of Indians, Arabs and other regions.

The official language spoken in Argentina is Spanish. Most of the population is Christian by religion but there is even a sufficient amount of religions like Judaism and Islam. The official currency of Argentina is the Argentine Peso.Argentina can be divided into four main regions; The North, the Pampas, Patagonia, and the Andes Mountains.

Currently, the largest numbers of foreigners living in Argentina are constituted by those from Latin American countries like Peru and Bolivia. The third place of origin is Paraguay. Under Argentina's constitution, "foreigners enjoy in the territory of the Nation.

The Roman Catholic Church, traditional majority, has a different legal status of other faiths according to the National Constitution, which prescribes the support of the Catholic religion.

Besides Catholicism, coexist harmoniously in the country registered more than 2,500 cults, such as Protestantism, Pentecostalism, Judaism and Islam, among many faiths.

In Argentina, freedom of religion is enshrined in the Constitution. Religious diversity has a long tradition that honors our country.
