Summary

Spirituality and religion are considered very important characteristics of multicultural ability for the therapists in order to think about the religious culture within United States. According to some of the previous searches conducted in this regard, it has been observed that approximately more than 90% of the Americans have claimed either they belong to Catholic or Protestant have affiliation with their religion, around 40% of the Americans are involved in attending religious services on regular basis and almost two thirds of Americans are more involved in personal spiritual practices and consider it as an important element in their routine life. Therefore, it is very important for spiritual counselors to recognize the ways in which their own spiritual culture and religious activities are different from the general belief of the people and their clients to whom they render their counseling services. This article has considered several different aims.

One of the main aims of carrying out this study was to observe the religious and spiritual culture along with the values of counselors by performing meta-analysis.the information gathered in this regard was used n suggesting some of the ways through which therapists consider their religious culture dissimilar as compare to their clients and the ways which can help them in exploring some identified differences that can be approached in constructive manner in the counseling. The other purpose or aim of carrying out this research was to investigate and identify through meta-analysis the connections among the personal religiousness of therapists and counselors and different variables related to counseling therapies.
