The association between Endogeneous hormones and depressive symptoms in postmenopausal women goingb through menopause transition period was marked by instability of the hormone, with intense and irregular fluctuations in the level of estrogen, which tends to decrease to the questionnaires, which give each subsequent interviews, information was obtained on the socio-demographic characteristics and way of life, ageing-related issues and overall health. Menopause transition period was marked by fluctuations in hormones and subsequent stages of the continuum are characterized by a sharp increase in FSH and sharp declines in estradiol levels in both of these hormones 40, thoughts on stabilization, as women become postmenopausal women, but despite this, we were able to show that the levels of hormones during postmenopausal period may affect depression. In particular, while we did not find correlation between depressive symptoms and absolute levels of estradiol or FSH, we found that changes in the level of this hormone levels were significantly associated with symptoms of depression. Risk of depressive symptoms in 3 times with reduced levels of estradiol in over 2 years and to a lesser extent, with increasing levels of FSH. These associations were independent of the other factors that are associated with depression and the level of hormones. It was suggested that the relationship between the levels of estradiol and depressed mood, at least for perimenopausal women's age can be explained by the existence of vasomotor symptoms such as tides.
