Introduction

The sex are pervading of our culture, which are going beyond the bedroom into workplace, media and the church. Despite all such attention and the obsession that is being devoted to human sexuality, sex remains confusing and even foreboding. Thus, some contemporary issues that generates as much conflict and heat in the society and within the church, as those having to do with the human sexuality. The controversy has continued over homosexuality, that includes the debate over causation, ability to change orientation and legitimization (Strassberg, 1998).

Despite an apparent sexual freedom, sexuality remains taboo, guilty, embarrassing, shameful and rarely happy. Is that, in fact, there is no true freedom as we stumble moral laws still blaming the genitals. Yet, it is one of two fundamental aspects of human sexuality and the denial can only harm our sexual fulfillment. Indeed, investing only link fusion to another - such as current discourse encourage us to do - keeps us in a romantic dream frustrating because no rooted in the body and therefore never fully felt.

Discussion and Analysis

Feminism and the postmodern turn in thinking have volatilized the essence of common sense of gender and sexuality. At this point, it seems that gender is fully located in the postmodern sensibility while still sexuality between the modern and the postmodern. Affect Of Rape For A Survivor

Millions of men and women are the survivor from rape. It can have a devastated on individuals also it faces the change and challenges in relationships as unimaginable ways. The victims for sexual assault are about six times more likely to suffer from the post-traumatic stress disorder that can lead towards the symptoms including the feeling of emptiness, guilt, insomnia, hearing, seeing things, memory loss, nightmares and loss of appetite are present.

At times it is often observed that the partner of rape survivor does not understand the reason as why is it taking too long for the survivor in getting out of that misfortune. Thus, the survivor must also face flashbacks of the incident.

Partners of Survivors

The partners of rape survivors are going through various similar feelings as the survivors faces. Support and answer are needed during the time however; it is very difficult to overcome from such condition. There is actually a ripple effect when the person is being raped. It is a fact that not only that person is being effected but the family, friends and partners even a complete stranger are affected in the way they have never imagined.
