Brief Summary

The main idea of the book is presenting the ideas of two women and criticizing and giving a critique of their views to the readers. The main theme of the book revolves around Belleville's Egalitarian Perspective and Blomberg's Complementarian Perspective. The book provides a summary of the two views and provides their critique respectively. The book is divided into four sections where the two different views are presented from women in ministry. The book also provides three responses to every view presented. The views of egalitarian and complementarian are presented with the doctrinal and biblical support. The book presents a friendly debate. The author presents the view of Gundry in the start of the book which allows that the Church has views for both views, within the commitment of inerrancy and limits of orthodoxy. The debater and the church are surrounded with a healthy debate of the critical issues. The debate is worthwhile, whether it looks as futile and shifting at times. Through the established scholars, detailed arguments for the egalitarian and complementarian views are presented twice. Each argument is thrice rebutted by equally qualified writers. The book deals with the critique of two main arguments where each position is represented with the overall rebuttal notes ending with a final note.

This argument is held by liberal, egalitarian women where they argue to belong to modern social advancement instead of solid Scriptures which is held by traditional view of the Scripture which is the main issue.
