Introduction

In airline industry, ethics are very important as they provide proper structure which guides in the decision making process. There are three characteristics which make this structure, application of professional skills, integration of the personal value and superior judgment. This paper will focus on “Map British Airways stakeholders” in which there will be a description with examples from two different stakeholder groups of some ethical concerns the company has had to deal with along with the an assessment of how successfully British Airways has dealt with stakeholders.

The business ethics and code are enforces to each employees, officer and British Airways directors. The key stakeholder of British airways are Customers, Industries authorizes, workers, suppliers and shareholders. Each has string association with the company. British Airways has faced certain ethical issues with their key stakeholders. In the following section, the discussion would be on main two ethical issued which British Airways experience.

British Airways operates in an environment that includes many actors who are all stakeholders in its activities. Each player has different issues; British Airways need to know understand harmoniously with your sustainable development. Traditionally the British Airways is accountable primarily to its shareholders. The development of corporate social responsibility has to be considered by the company and it must also listen and be accountable to other actors involved in the activity of the company as employees; subcontractors. Under the self-interest, there is a possibility of obtaining company employees in the performance of official duties, in cash or kind income in the form of material benefit or those close relatives or properties, as well as for individuals or organizations with which the civil servant is associated financial or other obligations (Hoppe, 2011).

Mostly, British airline has highlighted the main issues that they face is labelled with the conflict of interest. For example, the conflict of interest arises when company receives certain gifts from their potential suppliers and customers for doing their job. British airways unusual avoid receiving gifts when it appears to be excessive. The concept behind this is that, when potential clients present the company's employees with the expensive gift such as jewellery for getting good customer relationship, the demand for those clients' increases in terms of non schedule seating.
