The company performs the functions of exploration and production of natural gas and crude oil. The company aims to provide the safe and protected environment to employees and workers of the company also to the community.

Ethical System used by the Organization

The Shell Oil Company uses the relativistic ethical system. In relativistic ethical system, the company uses the ethical system which is used as standard. There have been many debates on the concept of relativistic ethical systems. The relativistic ethical system leads to the position that the company is not much following the moral absolutes and no moral wrong and right (Clark, 2003).
