Business Model Canvas -- Airbnb

Introduction

The business model selected is named Airbnb which was created by Brian Chesky, Joe Gebbia and Nathan Blecharczyk in the year 2008. The business proposes an easy means of renting, bedrooms, houses and other residential spaces for a small amount of time to individuals, organizations and businesses.

From starting at scratch they were able to create a business which ran extremely successfully. The reasons for their success shall be discussed in the following paragraphs.
