Business - Personal Motivation

The motivation and driving force is an important element in any sphere of human activity, but is at work which achieves the highest prevalence. It is the the process that causes a person to act in a certain way or at least creates a propensity toward a specific behavior. That impulse to act may come from the environment (external stimulus) or can be generated by internal mental processes of the individual. Motivation and satisfaction are different things; the first refers to the impulse and the effort to satisfy a desire or goal. The second relates to the taste experience when a desire is fulfilled. In other words, motivation implies momentum toward an outcome, while satisfaction involves experienced and results.

The most important needs for the job satisfaction are:

There should be a handsome amount of pay so that the wants are fulfilled. The job should be secured. There isn't any fear of losing the job.

There must be fairness in the performance appraisal of all the employees.

The job provides work life balance, so that the person gets time for his family and friends.

There should be equal opportunity for career growth.

The job shouldn't be monotonous, there must be job rotation or enlargement; and the employee should be provided with the proper trainings.

Maslow's motivational theory

Maslow, in his motivational theory suggests that people would possess an inherent tendency to growth or self-perfection, a positive trend growth, which includes both the reasons for lack or deficit as the reasons for growth or development.

The hierarchy is organized so that the deficit needs are in the lower parts, while development needs are in the highest parts of the hierarchy in this way, the priority needs are deficit, which would be the physiological needs, and then comes the security needs, the needs for love ...
