Introduction

The novel “The Tortilla Curtain” discusses about the immigration issues US faced. In relation to the story, the character Candido is described as a person who has met with bad happenings throughout.

Candido Rincon was born in a tiny habitation in Morelos, Mexico. As bulk separate population in this locality, his family is broke and very spiritual (p.20).The first and perhaps bulk traumatic understanding he had was the death of his mother after he was six years old. 27 years afterwards, later he receives broken in a motor vehicle misadventure he immobile has horrid nightmares of views that received profoundly set in his intellectual showing in public his dead mother's body lying in the coffin.

The argument in this paper leads to how Candido is not much responsible for himself and America's troubles, and he can blame it on luck. The further discussions state incidents of how Candido on not much on his faults have had the mishaps on mere bad luck and not intentional.

Discussion

At first he can't work after being hurt by the vehicle smash into and when he does not find a provisional job at a localized work exchange anymore, he unavailingly endeavors to find one in the town, wanting to save cash for a luxury suite in the North regardless of the reduced salaries offered.

The two couples' routes traverse suddenly when Candido is strike and hurt by Delaney. For distinct causes, each man favors not to call the policeman or an ambulance, and Delaney soothes his conscience by giving Candido some cash to be treated for his injuries. From that instant on, the two are certainly leveraged by each other without any of the two groups ...
