Central Nervous System

The nervous system is one of the most complex of our body and its study and analysis has continued since our Nobel laureate, Dr. Santiago Ramon y Cajal, to submit its findings on the neuron. The nervous system consists of neurons, which are the functional unit. Schematically the nervous system can be divided into several parts (Lehne, 2007):

- Brain (brain) that has information on all our body.

- Spinal cord (through sight, taste, touch, hearing and smell receives sensory information processed and stored).
