Prototype design

The project began with choosing a reference model which was used in the final model. The prototype design came from figure 1 (Adams 1993, p. 60). The actual prototype design however, was not exactly the same as the one given in Figure 1. The deviation from the actual model is rooted in the unavailability of sufficient data, tools and machines that are essential for the design. The final design for the prototype is given hereunder.
