Introduction

There are further researches and articles written on the subject of parenting and children's behavior. An additional five articles are summarized for this project. The articles focus mainly on black children and their educational and family background. The children tend to come from good homes, but are usually lacking a father in the home. They do not receive much support for their education, thus do not perform as well as the white children. A way to deal with these issues has been suggested toward the end of the paper. Philosophical counseling works wonders in terms of improving the lives of people in difficult situations.

Comparison of Studies

The major difference between the two studies is that Joffe and Roberts studies the affects based on the descriptive research, whereas, Schneider's study is comprised with different activities which were conducted to learn and understand the child-parent relationship. This study focuses on child-parent relationship by analyzing child's interpersonal relationship during the span of life.

The subjects responded to the interview questions about their family and friends and the interpreter coded analyzed these responses with the normal behavior of children in terms of their questions answered by parents.

Results

The child's behavior will be the result of the parent's doings, whether they are right, wrong, good or bad. A parent that answers the questions of his or her child is more likely to have a better relationship with the child later on.

Discussion

Implication of Research

The authors are encouraging parents to follow a casual and comfortable relationship with their children. Additionally, the parents should focus on telling their children about the meanings of swear words or make up their substitutes for their children. Parents should avoid using swear words in front of their children, because children pick up on them very quickly.
