Introduction

Disaster management and calamities coil human beings in a variety of ways. Some appear as hostile, while others tend to hail in the form of uncertainties, accidents and events that are simply beyond our control. For this paper, we shall pertain to create and describe the kind of message creation and dissemination, which should take place in the avenue of catering to people who are experiencing a certain level of suffering and those who tend to witness some form of casualty or a disaster that is simple irrevocable in terms of magnitude and the impact it had on the public.

The potential need for the families of victims who are stuck in the mine would be proactive; obviously whenever families and relatives would get to know of the catastrophe of this frequency, their initial reaction would be death and demise of their loved one. In the case of the Chilean mine collapse, families and relatives of the ones stuck in the endless abyss of coal were justified, since many of them had been earning as the only bread earner in the family (Baird & Cameron, 1998).
