When I was first allotted this report I had no concept what Christian Science was. I studied for hours on the belief? and endeavoured to find any thing I could on it. I discovered out that Christian Science was a belief founded on the life and teachings of Jesus Christ. As cited from a Christian Scientist “This belief is founded on the phrases and works of Christ Jesus? and sketches its administration pattern the Bible. Its teachings are set forward in Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy. Although a characteristic part of Christian Science is the healing of infection be religious means solely? its higher reason is universal salvation from every day evil-including sin and death ".

Christian Scientists especially accept as factual in the healings attributed to him in the New Testament. According to the founder of the belief? Mary Baker Eddy Jesus' healings were not miraculous interruptions of natural regulation? but the procedure of God's power? as glimpsed in religious law. She attributed her rapid recovery from a critical wound in 1866 to her "glimpse of the large fact" that life is in and of God. Hence forward? she educated her scholars through plea that they could mend sickness. That is why today Christian Scientist turns in the direction of plea other than accepted medicine.
